Skiing and other outdoor activities
BorovecThe Bulgarian mountain resorts of Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo offer convenient ski runs (total length exceeding 80 km and level differences of up to 1,500 m.) and facilities of various degrees of difficulty which is ideal for ski tourism and winter sports. The ski-season’s duration is up to 190 days. Luxurious hotels and huts provide comfortable accommodation. The Bulgarian mountains with their spectacular and stunning sceneries, extremely beautiful rock phenomena and karst formations, including 4,300 caves allow mountain lovers to enjoy hiking, rock climbing, caving and spelunking. 









Hunting
Large variety of game: red deer, fallow-deer, deer roe, wild goat, boar, bear, grouse, hare, partridge, pheasant and many others. The specialized modern facilities of the forestry enterprise, consisting of over 110 huts and hunter’s houses provide more than 1100 beds and all necessary conditions for hunting.

Gastronomy and wines
The traditional Bulgarian cuisine has a strong Mediterranean and Oriental influence. A variety of delicious meals and a bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables will be just one part of what will impress you. Along with the traditional Bulgarian dishes, many restaurants offer Italian, French, Greek, Chinese, German, Arabian, Hungarian, and Latin American, Indian and Russian food. Bulgaria is a renowned producer and exporter of wine to more than 70 countries in the world. On the territory of Bulgaria there are 12 wineries producing a wide assortment of excellent wines.
